Fun at the Elements Variety Show

It’s that time of the year again. Time for the Elements Variety Show. This spectacular performance organised by our resident entertainers has become an annual highlight for residents, staff, friends and family alike.

It’s not always easy to get a seat for the Elements Variety Show! The stage has shrunk and the seating area has expanded over the years to make sure there’s space for all in the Elements Community Centre. There certainly wasn’t a dry eye in the house this year. Not because of the fine dramatic acting, but thanks to an hour of top musical comedy and entertainment with performances by Element’s versions of Marilyn Monroe, Rod Stewart and Don McLean. Our Ukulele players, members of our own music club, kept everyone’s feet tapping, while grandchildren and great-grandchildren sang along to Old McDonald’s Farm with a raucous chorus of various farm animal noises. When Elements residents put on a show, there’s always something for everyone!

Naturally, refreshments were provided and goodie bags handed to the children. This annual Saturday afternoon show has always been a source of wonderful memories throughout the years, and will definitely continue!

Elements Retirement Village might find it hard to accommodate all of the animals at Old McDonald’s Farm, but your pets are always welcome. Family-friendly and pet-friendly – that’s Elements Retirement Community.
