Not quite a white Christmas, but at least one that falls during the winter-time. The annual Elements Christmas in July dinner and raffle has always been a popular affair. It’s the ideal opportunity to gather together with community members and everyone’s friends and family to enjoy traditional Christmas fare, games and songs. How the Elements management team found Christmas rose and mistletoe tablecloths at the wrong time of the year is yet another reason to offer hats off to their very advanced planning and preparation skills.
Naturally, Santa was invited to hand out a multitude of gifts. Those who won one or more of the many raffle prizes had plenty to do that afternoon. Christmas food and Christmas mood filled the community centre to the jingles of Yuletide tunes. As Christmas in July came to a close, there was another treat in store – the announcement of next year’s Elements holiday destination. Just hear those Taipei bells ringing and jing ting tingaling too – it’s Taiwan!
