March 17th marks St. Patrick’s Day and in true Elements style, we came together as a community to celebrate the occasion. This year, we brought a taste of Ireland to Elements @ Springwood Community Centre!
The social event was an incredibly bright and fabulously festive day bringing residents from both Elements @ Springwood and Elements @ Con Noi Carindale together for an unforgettable celebration featuring all things Ireland!
Residents from both villages came together dressed in their Irish best, donning plenty of green, fun party hats and accessories. The Community Centre was also appropriately decorated with the luck of the Irish. A carefully curated menu was put together to reflect the Irish tradition and was washed down with bubbles and of course a few traditional pints of Guinness.
Throughout the celebrations, residents were given lyrics to Irish songs and invited to join in for a sing-a-long. Residents participated in Irish dancing and wowed their guests with their Riverdance moves.
Above all, the day was a fantastic demonstration of community spirit and a great opportunity for our Elements @ Con Noi Carindale to mingle with Springwood and experience a taste of our social calendar and what to expect for the rest of what is to be an exciting year ahead.
St. Patrick himself would be proud of the community’s social celebration.
