Monthly Dinner

A pre-Brexit British meal of fish pie, beef wellington and that notorious English mystery…. Spotted Dick was on the menu and served up again by the wonderful hospitality students at local Rochedale High School.

Dr Val Dennis’ talk about her Cornish ancestors’ arrival at Daisy Hill – the first Europeans to settle there all the way back in 1870 – and the family burial ground that borders the Daisy Hill State Forest was beautifully done, enriching us all with the interesting social and natural history that lies right on Elements’ doorstep.

It’s now time to start looking forward to the next edition!
