We don’t need many excuses to get together at Elements. Happy Hour is one of our longest running activities and right at the beginning, used to be held at unsold properties on the Elements construction site. As unsold units became hard to come by, we changed venues at regular intervals, even hiring a bus (which meant Happy Hour only lasted until 6pm). Eventually we were able to construct a gorgeous outdoor area next to the pool as well as utilise the large community centre space. However, we certainly don’t limit ourselves to these locations. Happy Hours have been held in the Bush Garden or even out on the street.
This is a BYO gathering and a great way to meet up as a community. We’ve recently added workshop raffles to the mix of food, drink, chat and laughter, the proceeds of which help purchase new materials and equipment. The occasional band will play, but this is primarily an opportunity to catch up with people you might not have seen for a while, tell everyone about your recent trip, try out your best jokes and make new connections with like-minded residents. You don’t have to join us every time, but you should definitely come to make it a priority as a new resident, while longer-term community members use it as a simple way to catch up.
