Elements made its Anzac Day commemoration another culinary event. Held in the afternoon, this day of remembrance featured an outdoor sausage sizzle and ended with the obligatory Anzac biscuit. The solemnity of the occasion was met with respect and gratitude, where members of the Elements community laid a wreath and lowered and raised the flag.
Various residents also went on to attend Anzac Day ceremonies at three local schools, where some gave moving speeches which held the complete attention of every pupil. They did their part to keep the actions and sacrifices of those who have served and died in all wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations preserved for another generation.
