Once again Rochedale State High School students hosted Elements residents and people from other retirement villages to sample the results of their hard work. This time we were invited to lunch. Although it was raining we had an enjoyable day. We were 14 in total and, as the bus was unavailable, we found our way by car.
The Year 12s were our hosts and we enjoyed a large menu from Quiche to Moroccan Lamb. A number of comments were made about the large portions, and the Moroccan Lamb seemed to be a particular favourite. As we were leaving we were given a lovely gift of scones which delighted everyone. We all took home either a pack of food, cake or scones. It’s a bonus when there are leftovers that can be purchased for an extra meal at home!
