Culinary Delights at Elements

The inspiration for the May Dinner at Elements was Bella Italia. With Milanese and Genovese mains and a successful attempt as a dessert deconstruction, there was a distinct absence of empty plates (and glasses) at the end of the evening!

Entertainment was provided by Dr. Leyton Miller who communicated the importance of discussions relating to end-of-life care. This may not have been a particularly upbeat theme but everyone listened very intently throughout.

With a choice of red and white Italian wines, Elements residents were treated to two magnificent courses. Osso bucco from Milan and gnocchi alla funghi with a creamy sauce from Genoa. Dinner ended with a modern take on a melt-in-the-mouth pana cotta tiramisu. Everyone in this hard-to-please epicurean group is looking forward to the following month’s culinary destination!
