Legend has it that St Patrick was responsible for banishing all the snakes from Ireland.
The Irish love to have a good party so their celebrations go on for days with Irish dancing, Irish music and of course a pint or two of a dark ale named Guinness. The residents embraced the spirit of St Patrick, adorned themselves with Irish regalia and celebrated in style (though just for an evening not for days!).
