The third Friday of the month was designated as a Sausage Sizzle in the Bush Garden. Once again the weather was kind and large numbers enjoyed the beautiful setting.
Sausages seem to taste much better when grilled on the BBQ and simply eaten with onions, bread and sauce. What more could we want? The occasion was, of course, extra special, as it was Eric’s 70th Birthday, and our numbers were swelled by members of Gwen and Eric’s family. Getting to chat to other members of a resident’s family enhances inclusive atmosphere that is our home here at Elements.
A sumptuous Malteser Chocolate Cake was provided by Lois and enjoyed by all. Don’t think too many were heading home to cook dinner after that feast!
Kate and Dennis joined us for Happy Hour on the last Friday in November. And it turned out to be their Golden Wedding anniver-sary. Appropriate good wishes marked the occasion.
