The resident’s Festa Italiana at Ristorante 222 (also known as Club Elements) was declared a winner of a dinner! The tables were dressed in traditional Italian colours of green, white and red, Dorothy created a lovely garland centrepiece adorned with Italian flags, a feast was prepared and a delightful evening was had by residents and a special family member (Max and Bev’s granddaughter).
The resident’s Festa Italiana at Ristorante 222 (also known as The menu had something for everyone. Our Italian feast included:
- Antipasti: cheeses and bagelettes, grissini with pesto dip
- Mains: Italian pizzas, chicken breast with Italian topping, two variations of lasagne, veal and pork meatballs in fresh tomato sauce, tossed salad
- Dessert: traditional tirimisu, cheese and fruit platter.
Talk about a veritable degustation!!! Tony claimed it was a sin all the food he ate!! A cake was also presented to Sel and Bonny who celebrated May birthdays.
We have to thank everyone for all their efforts and note how lucky we are to have such talented cooks in our midst. The evening was rounded off with a quiet toast of Galliano. Buona salute!
