Elements Managing Director Chiou See Anderson welcomed presenters Sophie & Jo from Blue Care, Chenara & Susan from Tunstall & Dr.Daphne Liu from Watersprings Health Centre to our recent Health Care Information Morning for residents, family and guests.
The morning’s session included a demonstration of telehealth and telecare systems provided by Tunstall, an overview of Blue Care services available to residents and an introduction to the full suite of healthcare services provided by local health centre Watersprings.
All Elements homes are fitted with Tunstall telecare alarm systems. Sarah demonstrated how effective they can be should. In short, Telecare is the continuous, automatic and remote monitoring of real time emergencies and lifestyle changes. If a fall occurs or any type of assistance is needed, the telecare systems are there.
Watersprings Health Centre located in the heart of Springwood is an integrated health service with medical doctors having over a decade of clinical experience combined with services such as Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology/Fitness Training, Holistic Nutrition, Dietitian/Nutrition and a pathology collection centre to provide a full health and wellness approach to your well-being.
Dr Daphne Liu provides care to all age groups, and shared her special interest in counselling, chronic disease management, geriatrics, lifestyle coaching, and women’s health. Her passion is to see people living a healthy lifestyle and for those with chronic illnesses, an improved quality of life. Dr Liu invited Elements residents to visit the centre – her and her team would love to be of assistance.
