Community Centre

Club Elements includes a library, meeting area, entertaining facilities and pool.

Enjoy our 950 sqm Community Centre at Elements retirement village in Brisbane, providing:

  • Musical and theatrical enjoyment. With a dance-floor, piano and change rooms for performances, you can enjoy acting, singing and dancing activities with your friends at Elements.
  • Games like mahjong, bridge, cards, chess or any board games can be enjoyed on specially designed game tables.
  • A lounge area where you can meet your friends for a drink either from the tea and coffee station or from the bar.
  • A library.
  • A multi-purpose room to host a special birthday party or to share your travel photo album on the LCD TV with your friends or to entertain the grand kids with the latest movies.
  • A large communal kitchen with servery access to the multi-purpose room.
  • A residents’ bar for that happy hour drink with your neighbours and friends.
  • An outdoor pool that is heated during spring and autumn to extend your swimming season.

Our Community Centre, affectionately known as Club Elements, includes a host of retirement living facilities, including large heated pool, manicured grounds, indoor and outdoor entertaining areas, bar, large kitchen, library, meeting room, yoga and gentle exercise space, dance floor, gymnasium and pamper room.  Residents can drop in anytime during the day and it is the perfect place to meet family and friends.

Our club is the heart of our community and hosts many social activities including BBQs, Friday night happy hour, dinner functions, movie nights and general get-togethers. It is also the hub for special events including Christmas in July, St Patrick day celebrations and open days.

Set amongst 460 hectares of lush koala habitat on the edge of the Daisy Hill State Forest, the Zen Garden is an oasis for residents. Experience tranquil retirement living in Brisbane at our spectacular Zen garden.

Named Hana – Japanese for ‘flower’ – the authentic Japanese Zen Garden is unique to Elements.

It was custom-designed by Tokyo based master landscaper Tamon Yamagucchi, a Landscape Master of 15 years, who specialises in the art of plant shaping.

Hana boasts a tea house, male and female waterfalls, large pond, cedar wood entrance, several specially carved bridges and a magnificent array of plants.

  • The garden provides a special tranquil place for our residents to enjoy quiet reflection and meditation.
  • Set against a backdrop of 460 hectares of Australian koala bushland.
  • Enter through the authentic cedar wood gate and be greeted by a (taller) male and a (shorter) female waterfall cascading into a large pond.
  • Water trickles into little rock passages under crafted bridges.
  • Tea house/viewing platform allowing quiet reflection and peaceful enjoyment of the tranquil surrounds.
  • Magnificent display of plants,including Sango Kaku (Acer Palmatum), Trident Maple, Tropical Birch  Crepe Myrtle, Scarlet Maple, Eumundi, White Oak, Chinese Elm, Weeping Willow, Banbusa Chungii, Bamboo, Nepalese Blue , Timor Black, Japanese Maple, Zosia, Mondo grass and Viola.

The Zen Garden is one of our popular retirement living facilities with our residents for reading, painting, enjoying quiet reflection and sharing time with visitors, family and friends.

Our retirement village in Brisbane includes a well-equipped gymnasium with everything you need to stay fit and active. It is outfitted with a range of cardio equipment including bike and rowing machines.

There is a combination of free-form weights and stationary load bearing machines as well as medicine balls and mats and other equipment to keep you challenged. The gym also opens on to the lap pool and spa, which is the perfect way to end a workout.

Work Shed

We are fortunate to have so many enthusiastic and skilled crafts people who have given freely of their tools, time and expertise.

At Elements retirement village Brisbane, we are fortunate to have so many enthusiastic and skilled crafts-people who have given freely of their tools, time and expertise.

Enjoy retirement living in Brisbane at the work shed at Elements, one of our popular retirement living facilities. We welcome all residents, however, as a working shed we take safety and security very seriously.

New members are inducted and quickly find new projects to keep them busy.

For those interested in woodwork or metalwork, the shed is equipped with up-to-date machinery and a wide range of tools.

Everything from fixing furniture to crafting figurines to wood turning is tackled at the Work Shed.

And for those just wishing to observe, you are still welcome to join in at the Work Shed as we often take a break with a game of cards or darts, and sometimes a well-earned beer.
